Today’s favorite thing combines two of my favorite things – family and food! I married into a creative family. These people write, draw, build, paint, bake, cook and well, basically they do it all. My sister-in-law is a food genius or to be more accurate, she is a food scientist. Anna thinks up new and delicious food combinations for a living! Jealous? Don’t be, it’s hard work and the really fun part is eating the food! Which I do. Most recently, my husband and I have finally been eating a healthy breakfast thanks to Anna’s All You Can Oat flavor and nutrient oat mixtures.

All You Can Oat are packets of yumminess (oats, flaxseed, dried fruit, spices, raw nuts, coconut and dark chocolate to name a few) that you can add to just about anything.

Anna began adding a combination of healthy nutrients to her husband’s hot cereal every morning to entice him to eat a healthy breakfast. He loved the added flavor and thus, All You Can Oat was born. But oats aren’t the only food you can use the packets with. I personally love adding them to my plain, vanilla or coconut yogurt. You can even add them to smoothies, pancake batter or replace ½ cup flour in baked good recipes such as muffins, cookies or brownies.

Out of our whole family, my husband and I have enjoyed All You Can Oat the best. My husband is out the door every morning by 6:30 AM and doesn’t have time to make a healthy breakfast that will keep him going all morning. Now, he just grabs a yogurt out of the fridge and a packet of All You Can Oat. Voila! He now has protein, antioxidants, fiber, cholesterol reducing nutrients and oh yea, great flavor! A nutritious breakfast gives him energy throughout the morning and it’s quick, so he can eat fast before he sets off for the day.

My mornings feel hectic and over too soon. I barely have time to drink all my coffee, let alone make a healthy breakfast.

Now, I can eat a healthy breakfast and do it quickly. All You Can Oat has no artificial ingredients and no added sugars. That is a win in my book!

What about the kids? Well, my darling dears have a fear of “chunks” in their food (insert eye roll) so until they grow out of this phase, they are skipping this breakfast. No problem, all the more for mom and dad.

    Very good article Missy. Even though you do not know me personally, I do know your husband, and all of his family. Of course, Anna is my daughter in law, and everything you said about her and “All you can oat” is very true. She works very hard and diligently at this, and it seems it is paying off for her. Not too bad for Michael either. We are all very proud of both of them. Thank you.
